[There's a pile of books beside the beanbag this wolf is sitting in, a collection that seems to dip into some fairly advanced magic. Remus frowns as he flips through the pages. He's decided that he really ought to take advantage of his time here, and this little studying session promises to be the first of many. He seems preoccupied, though, and occasionally stares off into the corner of the room instead of at the pages before him, thinking about all he has to look forward to when he heads back to the cottage.]

[Remus blinks at Sirius for a moment and then allows that threatening smile to pull visibly at his lips.]

-are utterly brilliant and really, really ridiculously good-looking?

[Fine, make him chuckle why don't you.]

We'll go with that. And you have chocolate.

Not just chocolate. Chocolate specifically for you. And it's possible I stocked the kitchen earlier with tea and sugar and milk, so you can have liquid sugary death with your chocolate.

[He holds his hand out, finally. He may still be twitchy with the aftermath of that spell, but at this moment he really does need that little bit of physical contact.]

Come here.

[Sirius is taking this as an invitation for a full-body hug.]

Hi.

[Give him a moment to adjust, that was a lot more contact than he anticipated. Eventually, his hand touches Sirius's back.]

Hello, Padfoot.

[So. Not an invitation for a full-body hug. Oops?]

Alright there?

[No, no, now that he's warmed up to it, Remus is nuzzling a bit into Sirius's neck for comfort.]

Oh... glad that it's over. And that I'm not- well, that I didn't-

[Well, then. He'll just grab a handful of shirt and hug a little tighter.]

A little faith in yourself, Moony.

Shut it.

[But it's said gratefully, for the reminder.]

You shut it. Eat your bloody chocolate.

[Pulls back and shoots him a cheeky grin before taking a big bite of that delicious chocolate, already feeling it warm him from the inside.]

...c'mon. I'll make you some tea.

[He seems amenable to that plan and turns toward the cottage with an only slightly weak gait. Chocolate is helping.]

I'm not an invalid, Padfoot. I can make my own tea.

I was going to have you open the biscuits, but hey, if you want to do it the other way...

As taxing as that sounds...

[He trails off, instinctively looking up into the sky, trying to gauge the hours of daylight left.]

[He lifts his face to the sky, too, squinting a little.]

Reckon you've got time to eat something before you hulk out.

Before I what?

Worst attempt at humour ever. Forget it.

[Remus looks at Sirius with what begins as a mystified, frustrated expression, and only becomes knowing bemusement once he turns to face the cottage again.]

You are ludicrous.

[Lacing their fingers together, totally casual.]

That was a brilliant piece of spellwork at the end there. By the by.

Yeah, I know. [Smug!] I earthed it. S'our forest, now. We won't have to cast that big again.

Not that it was difficult in any sense. I'm sure I could run a marathon just now without a problem.
