Well, that sucks. [She fishes out a cold pack and hands it over along with some gauze and a wetnap.] Here ya go. I always carry one of these around. Backpacker first aid kit.

[The gauze and wetwipe are applied to his face. The cold pack, he just sort of looks at.]

Giving a damn in general has worked out pretty well for me. Uh, that was for your eye, if you want.

[She puts the rest of the kit away in her backpack, which has a small Romani Flag on it.]

Henry. Thanks, I mean it. The pity party of letting it look awful probably isn't worth the pain anyway.

[He dutifully puts it against his eye and winces.]

Yeah, no, and besides it makes you feel worse long term.

[She hisses in sympathy.] Should start easing down pretty quick. Can you get up?

Yeah, I think so, but me and the floor are getting to know each other.

[He gives her a cheesy grin.]

That and my head might start spinning again.

Wish I'd brought the dogosaurus. He's great at being a floor pillow.

I've passed out on worst places. 'Dogosaurus' sounds like the greatest name in the history of ever.

Actually his name's Fozzie Bear.[She pulls out her phone and brings up a picture of her hugging a shaggy, black...it's bigger than her, whatever it is.] But yeah, he has like eighty nicknames. Sir Poops-A-Lot, Captain Hugefuzz and Who Farted are the usual ones.

If I had a dog that big, I'd probably name it something completely stupid and laugh like an asshole whenever I said it's name. Good thing my parents spared me that embarrassment.

Yeah, he's a big adorable derp. He was supposed to be trained as a guard dog. He knows how to do it, but he's much happier as a lovesponge.

I don't know, maybe I can have him haul a damn cart or something.

I had a few cats? Before my parents got divorced, we had a lab named Dixie, but she went to live with my dad and sister, so she wasn't really mine anymore.

I'm pretty down with pets in general. But I love my big derp. Though I have a feeling he wants to be a daddy, and that could get complicated.

Should I ask, or is that in a none of my business category?

I just tend to move around a lot, and that's hard to do with a big family of doggies. Though I have kinda thought of just getting a patch of land somewhere, building a house and just chilling for a few years.

[Henry seems to have some thoughts on this, but is wise enough to keep them to himself.]

Yes and no. I like traveling. I just haven't decided where to settle yet, you know? [She puts her phone away.] How's your nose?

Uh...yeah. I'd say that's better. Of course I have hung around a few guys who were doing that literally and got better.
