[ If you've met Yuuki before, there might be something unsettlingly familiar about the girl who's currently curled up in one corner of a sofa. She's utterly absorbed in the contents of the file folder she's got balanced on her legs, until she flips the folder shut and looks up, as if trying to memorize something-- and then her face falls, abruptly. ]

Aw, you're kidding me!

[ She brightens up again quickly, though, tucking the folder under the cushion and addressing the Room at large. ]

Hey, let's play a game. Like, truth or dare, or the question game, or something? Please?

Harvestman, okay. Um, I was thinking truth or dare or the question game, or anything fun, but I can't think of that many fun two-player games that you don't need like, special equipment for.

Because it is a terrible idea.

Worse than truth or dare?

I've nothing I care to ramble on for hours about. Wouldn't you get bored?

Well, you don't have to ramble, it's only if you want to. The point's to relieve boredom, after all. The rules aren't very strict. But we don't have to play if you don't want to.

Questions are fine, but I think I ran outta mine. Anything else I can think of is too personal.

What a peculiar game. I daresay it could get invasive-- does it work better with more people?

Well, you can either come up with some better questions, tell me 'go away kid I don't wanna play your stupid game,' or lose. Or you could just ask the personal questions. I mean, how personal are we talking?

I don't know, I've only ever played it one-on-one. It might get complicated with more people. Although honestly, I'm not even sure it's a real game, sometimes I think my friend only made it up for an excuse to interrogate me.

Ah.

And was he or she successful?

As successful as he could expect, I think. I mean, he was very clever at making it really innocent, so maybe I'm just paranoid, but I'm pretty good at deflecting.

...Actually, I'm still going to say that truth or dare is worse.

What if we put them together. [ because combining two terrible ideas totally makes a good one right? ] Like take a drink for every truth you refuse to answer and every dare you refuse to do.

[suspicious look...]

[ Er. Hopeful silence and a winning smile? ]

...hell. Fine, but I reserve the right to change my mind anytime I want.

Yes! [ She does a bounce of victory on the sofa cushion before settling back into the corner. ] Okay, I did promise to let you go first, so gimme a dare.

[ Way too eager to bother with getting all set up with drinks before starting. ~~Also possibly way too confident that there isn't a dare she won't do.~~ ]

[sighing, he pulls out his phone to text work and have them send him his favorite blood cocktail -- and that fancy mixed whatever that they made for Yuuki last time, since she's too damn cocky to get herself something. he agreed to this, didn't he. he's part of this now.

nevertheless, he's not going to start with the really crazy stuff right off the bat. (maybe if he's decent about it, she will be too, hm.)]

I dare you to... mm, bark like a dog at the next person who tries to talk to you.

Dare accepted, but now I have to remember and wait for someone to talk to me to actually do it. [ Sigh. Remembering is such hard work, obvs. ]
