[There's a pile of books beside the beanbag this wolf is sitting in, a collection that seems to dip into some fairly advanced magic. Remus frowns as he flips through the pages. He's decided that he really ought to take advantage of his time here, and this little studying session promises to be the first of many. He seems preoccupied, though, and occasionally stares off into the corner of the room instead of at the pages before him, thinking about all he has to look forward to when he heads back to the cottage.]

Different things at different moments for different people. I was refused. Well, alcohol at one point.

It was a complicated time. The point is that there seems to be some correlation between the specific moment and what is denied.

I wouldn't say that. There were circumstances...

But you just said the point was the correlation between the specific moment and what is denied. If you were already entirely inebriated, it makes sense that it would deny you alcohol, which says to me that it's behaving in a reward/punishment manner.

Ugh, it's like being back at school.

Really, it isn't that interesting. Not nearly as much as my research into memory.

It's really only some protection spells.

And I meant memory of this place. For many, we forget everything about our experience here when we leave.

[And this not remembering thing is going to be annoying.]

Is there any way of knowing who'll remember and who won't? I'm going to be very annoyed if the perfectly marvellous day I had is wiped from my mind when I leave.

Not as far as I can tell. What about the day was marvelous, if you don't mind me asking?

Oh, it was a combination of things; travel and costumes and music and handsome faces. No one particular event.

That's... hm. That's very true. I may have been a bit too serious about this whole thing.

Not everything needs to be serious. Some things are fun for fun's sake.
