Standing outside, the cloaked figure looks around. What sights! They would be wasted alone. Her language's writing is much different than yours (less used for communication than for identification), but somehow she can understand. Writing, however, is a bit of a chore without hands. Or arms. Spelled out by scurrying around in the dirt, the ground below her stick feet reads, in sloppy, childlike letters:]
SEEKING COMPANION
[She sits down slowly next to her message and waits, her unblinking silver eyes patiently watching the passersby.]

For what?
[ not to put more pressure on the cloaked figure to respond in the dirt, but he's all too familiar with needing a 'companion' for very different things at any given moment. ]

One of the first things she thought to do in this strange land was to identify herself with a human equivalent... She cannot speak it, but she can show him the letters she found:]

[Isra, a nighttime Journey.
And then a few visions appear: an empty desert filled with black pillars, a unique symbol written on each. A stranger who looks like her, a similar glowing symbol on their chest. And then a vision of the boy standing in front of her, and a wanting to learn.]
