Some dude's fist, but it felt the same. [he tries to wave off her efforts, but it's a rather pathetic and ineffectual effort.]

Well, that sucks. [She fishes out a cold pack and hands it over along with some gauze and a wetnap.] Here ya go. I always carry one of these around. Backpacker first aid kit.

[The gauze and wetwipe are applied to his face. The cold pack, he just sort of looks at.]

[She puts the rest of the kit away in her backpack, which has a small Romani Flag on it.]

[He dutifully puts it against his eye and winces.]

I'm not, like, really sure how I got here or how to get back? Not that following strangers into bathrooms isn't a great idea normally, but, you know.

The trick with this place-- I think, haven't been here very long-- seems to be the doors. Look long enough, you'll find your way to something useful, and if you're lucky, home.

[he's acquiring ice, at this point, since he doesn't trust the kid to do it himself. or properly, for that matter. the ice is wrapped up in a thin towel and Arashi knots it shut.]

Hold this next to your eye. [he holds up three fingers.] How many?

No. [not until he's certain that there's no brain damage involved here, anyway. it's always harder to tell with teenagers.] What's your name?
