[ sooooo, there is a familiar kid over here, that one twiggy teenager who tends to drop into the room unceremoniously from ceilings or crawl in from air ducts in the floor. and he is just. sprawled on a raggedy old couch with a copy of One Piece draped over his face. the crinkled pages flutter a little every time he breathes (accompanied by the occasional snore).

his right elbow is wrapped in what looks like a ThermaCare heating stretch pad, and a few of his fingertips are covered in Band-Aids. tennis elbow, callouses; somebody's been working hard, basically! no surprise there, folks know he's a dart-thrower. and a dancer. and... maybe not other stuff, but, y'know. s'all good. ⚆‿⚆?

falling asleep and winding up here was probably unintentional, though. err. ]

[She nods her acceptance of his explanation.] They're amusing little anecdotes of silly things wizards imagine Muggles to do. [Children take them as gospel until they reach school, as children are wont to do.

Narcissa doesn't need much room, but her skirts are marvellously voluminous, so his action is appreciated if a tad unnecessary. It's only fabric.]

Something along those lines. I do take immense satisfaction in looking my best when I don't want to be somewhere; sort of like armour, I suppose.

Oh! [ he hides a pleased grin behind his hand, remembering he's actually in a place where wizards and Muggles exist and he is one of those Muggles! ] What kinds of silly things?

[ Taemin pushes comfortably into the cushion he's leaning against. ]

And yeah, I get that. I sort of do the same thing.

Oh, the usual slapstick mishaps. I think his name was Martin, actually... it's been a very long while since I've seen one.

...a costume, of sorts?

[ Taemin arches a brow doesn't press any further; instead, he nods in reply to her question. his smile is bright, but there's something tight around the edges. not uncomfortable or sad or even tired, but probably an approximation of what it looks like after the last interview of the day and before the night's activities. ]

Literally and figuratively.

[She recognises that smile. She sees it in the mirror most days.]

It can be difficult being who people want you to be.

[ a mild shrug, pleasant enough. ]

You do what you gotta do, though, right?

[A handful of fabric is gathered, examined, and left to fall back into place.]
