[There's a pile of books beside the beanbag this wolf is sitting in, a collection that seems to dip into some fairly advanced magic. Remus frowns as he flips through the pages. He's decided that he really ought to take advantage of his time here, and this little studying session promises to be the first of many. He seems preoccupied, though, and occasionally stares off into the corner of the room instead of at the pages before him, thinking about all he has to look forward to when he heads back to the cottage.]

[He bites at his tongue, wanting very much to descend into murmuring affectionate nothings, cooing his love like a simple slip of a school boy, going into raptures about how happy he is at this moment. It really isn't his style, though. Sirius will have to settle for a tug at a curl and a fond tilt of his head as Remus smiles down at him.]

I do bring adventure and excitement wherever I go.

Because you once found me hot, but I am now the frozen and solidified version of my former self?

Because I like the way the word igneous feels in my mouth, and metamorphathingy rock is too obvious and-- hmm. I still find you hot.

I think I'll just be getting off of you now.

Mhm. [Rolls his eyes as he resettles himself primly in that not so prim beanbag.]

[Sitting up and settling himself between Remus' knees, back to the beanbag.]

Gimme a quill, I'll make some notes.

Ask for one yourself. [Bops him gently on the head.] You lazy thing.

But I have wounds! I'm an invalid! I'm-- [The recipient of about a dozen quills.] --deluged with sharp things, ow.

[Covers his head with a yelp.] Was that... absolutely necessary?!

Hey! I didn't ask for a rain of quills! This one's pretty nice, though. Look at the nib, all fancy and curlicued.

Yes, very lovely. [Rubs his head petulantly, but also thoughtfully.] You didn't ask but still... this place.

...lets me live with you. Pretty good, really. Oi, room! Parchme-- ha. Excellent.

[Good job pulling him back from his thoughts. Remus breaks his faraway stare to look at Sirius and smile.] There is that.

There is. [Tilting his head back to smile. It's a happy smile, quiet and content.]
