[There's a pile of books beside the beanbag this wolf is sitting in, a collection that seems to dip into some fairly advanced magic. Remus frowns as he flips through the pages. He's decided that he really ought to take advantage of his time here, and this little studying session promises to be the first of many. He seems preoccupied, though, and occasionally stares off into the corner of the room instead of at the pages before him, thinking about all he has to look forward to when he heads back to the cottage.]

I did. And what do you intend to do about it? [Isn't it disgusting how endearing they are?]

Oh, fine. [Well, there's Sirius's answer. A little hesitant, but he certainly intends it to be meaningful.]

[A sweet sort of hesitance, but Sirius reads the intent behind it very well, and doesn't let himself take it further than Remus would be comfortable with.]

Oh, mountains of it. Big day. Big thoughts.

Just the public-consumption ones. The kinky ones, I can wait til later for.

They largely involve fear.

What if we misjudge the time? If it's already dark by the time we enter to cast the spells. What if the moon there affects me differently from the moon that I'm used to. What if I try to go through the door into the Room afterward, would I still be changed? Could I hurt someone here? What if someone tries to go through that door from the Room, would the spell extend to them? What if I'm... confused by the new area? What if I ruin our lovely new home...

Which isn't even to mention the usual fear, of hurting you in any way or making you... regret certain decisions. And don't mock me for that now, Padfoot, I don't know that I could take it as well as I usually can.

I'll go in first. If its dark, we stay here. If it isn't, we cast the spells - and we find one to lock or hide the door back.

Time is different in here, yeah? It doesn't flow-- you've never changed in here, right? I don't think you'll be forced into another change if you ride out the full transformation in our forest... it'll be done, right?

We can-- we can ward the cottage. You won't ruin it. You won't ruin anything.

And I don't regret a single thing. Not one. We're in this together.

For god's sake, don't let me hurt you, Sirius. Please. [He's done it before, little cuts and bruises, but he doesn't know how to handle that now.]

[Sighs and leans back, letting his head drop back onto the beanbag.] Merlin, you'd think it was my first change.

[Rests his forehead on Remus' cheek.]
